Palliative Care

Palliative Care is delivered over a full day. The course aims are to give learners an awareness of palliative care within their own area of work, to address the practical skills that care workers may use when supporting clients and their families, and to establish the role of the worker in providing palliative care. By the end of this session candidates will be able to discuss the principles of palliative care, understand the stages of grief and bereavement, and will be aware of religious and cultural diversities and burial requirements.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
