FAW+F for Forestry

This HSE approved EFAW course is designed to meet the Forestry Commissions requirement for a FAW+F course. The course includes extra subjects that people working in Forestry are likely to come across. Extra subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme Disease.
The Forestry Commission support the HSE recommendation that all first aiders undertake an annual first aid refresher and our www.profaw.co.uk course is designed to meet this recommendation. This course is ideal for all business types where the risk assessment requires a higher level of training as well as other area's where a more comprehensive first aid course is required.
The certificate is valid for 3 years and then you can attend a 2 day requalification as long as your certificate is still in date. You will be assessed on completion of the course by 1 or 2 assessors (not the instructor). This course must be taught 100% in classroom and not online. The HSE recommend that all first aiders complete an annual first aid refresher course andour online coursemeets this requirement.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
