In the first section of the course, we look at what Bloodborne pathogens are, infection control legislation and the chain of infection, we then cover the different types of infection like HIV, Hepatitis, MRSA, Ebola and Coronavirus, it also covers different types of injections and skin diseases.

The course also includes how to reduce the risk of infection, basic food hygiene practices, contaminated objects and how to follow and report up on an exposure incident.
